Based in Turkmenistan, DSD Medical provides medical gas systems, laboratory infrastructure, and turnkey technical solutions for healthcare facilities and institutional environments. Its business model extends far beyond product supply, encompassing project design, installation, commissioning, validation, and ongoing technical support. This end-to-end approach was already reflected in the company’s service framework, which includes discovery, feasibility assessment, design, installation, commissioning, validation, and after-sales technical services.

The Challenge

The primary objective was to strengthen DSD Medical’s digital presence with a structure that better reflected the company’s technical capabilities, operational discipline, and professional standards. In highly specialized sectors such as healthcare infrastructure, visitors are evaluating far more than products and services. They are assessing compliance, project methodology, documentation practices, quality assurance, and long-term reliability. The prominence of themes such as patient safety, project continuity, ISO 7396-1 and HTM 02-01 compliance, turnkey delivery, and testing and validation services made it clear that the company’s technical expertise needed to be communicated more effectively through its digital presence.

The UIM Approach

At UIM, we approached this project as more than a corporate website redesign. Our objective was to position DSD Medical not simply as a supplier of products and services, but as a trusted technical partner with a structured project methodology, strong compliance culture, and proven delivery capabilities. To achieve this, we developed an information architecture that addressed not only what the company provides, but also how it works, how projects are managed, which standards guide its processes, and what types of challenges it is equipped to solve. The company’s turnkey MEP and medical infrastructure capabilities became a central part of the narrative. From design and engineering through testing, validation, training, maintenance, and ongoing support, the website was structured to communicate the full project lifecycle under a single, cohesive framework.

We applied the same philosophy to the solution pages. Particularly within the Medical Gas Systems section, the content was designed to go beyond product presentation and provide greater context around compliance requirements, application areas, technical specifications, and project delivery standards. The inclusion of patient safety, operational continuity, regulatory compliance, and turnkey implementation under the “Why DSD Medical?” section further strengthened the company’s positioning. The structured presentation of project stages, including discovery, engineering design, equipment selection, installation, validation, and as-built documentation, made the company’s technical depth significantly more accessible to decision-makers.

Key Transformations

Increasing the visibility of completed projects was another critical component of the transformation. In technical industries, credibility is built not only through expertise but through demonstrated execution. Projects such as Arçman Sanatorium, Turkmenistan Lebap Province State Hospital, Türkmenbaşı Köpügürlü Hospital, Foça State Hospital, and Tavşanlı State Hospital provided tangible evidence of the company’s capabilities within medical gas infrastructure. Likewise, laboratory projects including the Nigeria Cyclotron Laboratory, Nigeria AQAC Laboratory, laboratory modernization projects in Turkmenistan, and the Opet Fuchs İzmir Laboratory demonstrated the company’s ability to deliver complex technical solutions across different sectors, geographies, and project scales. These references became powerful proof points that reinforced both credibility and experience.

The greatest contribution of the DSD Medical project was transforming a technically sophisticated but potentially fragmented narrative into a more structured, strategic, and professional digital experience. By bringing products, standards, methodologies, and project references together within a unified framework, the website created a stronger first impression and a more credible representation of the brand. As a result, DSD Medical is positioned not only as a company that delivers technical solutions, but as a partner capable of demonstrating how it plans, manages, validates, and executes complex projects.
